Throughout the continent Zero was a predictable enigma, maintaining a particular route up and down its many pathways. In certain villages people were hardly surprised when he appeared at their inns, usually at the darkest of hours. Though polite, they could sense he would abide no personal questioning. So, they mostly left him alone, whispering when they thought he wasn't looking. Thus the blossoming of a legend occurred. Some said he possessed unnaturally powerful magic. Some said he was not a human at all, but a vigilant if silent spirit. Zero himself was aware of these stories and if alone sometimes allowed himself the smallest of smiles.

Beside a cobblestone street one will eventually walk by the magic shop. Painted red with a bright yellow door and purple curtains in the windows the building stands out amongst the grey colored structures around it. Stepping inside you'll see that the interior walls are a fading blue which obviously need another coat of paint. The floor is wood, one soft oriental style carpet covering the floorboards. Entering the ruins, one will walk under a crumbling archway that is guarded by two unrecognizable stone guards, holding swords across their chests. The walls extending forth from this archway enclose the city, but are crumbling with time and disrepair. The streets all lead to a central pavilion. The buildings that line the street have gated gardens before them. Most are residencies. Venturing into the other areas of the city, a person will find businesses. Dear Blizzard Entertainment Advertising department...   I already know World of Warcraft is the bestselling MMO of all time, I already know there are like a bajillion players on it, I already know I can try it for free at www.warcraft.com. Yet you insist on barraging me with advertisements. They're freaking everywhere! Online, on commercials, made into parodies on tv shows, in magazines, in my favorite toy stores in the form of action figures, in my bookstore in the form of novels, on the shirts of nerds at the mall, at the tabletop gaming store in the form of a board game, and even at bus stops.
